Dog Watch Cafe - Stonington

We had a great experience at Dog Watch. The setting, on Stonington Harbor, is beautiful. We got to watch a gorgeous sunset over the water! The place has a relaxed vibe. Our waitress was very helpful and down to earth. And the food: great. I got broiled local scallops in garlic butter and they were the best scallops i have ever had. Briny, rich and delicate. (Apparently, Stonington is known for scallops. My wife’s salmon was also excellent. The molten lava cake was good not great but that’s a trifling complaint. If we lived nesrby, we’d be regulars…

Extremely great place my grandparents and I have been going for years! Dogwatch tuna is my favorite dish but the bouillabaisse is amazing. Brownie rockslide is also spectacular. Amazing staff, everyone was very friendly and our waitress was attentive. The food was excellent, special crab and artichoke dip was delicious, key lime pie was very good. Celebrating a birthday -we got a table with a view of the bay and it was lovely. The food was superb! We had two different scallop appetizer specials and they were delicious! Then I enjoyed the fish tacos (has a bit of a kick to it) and my husband raved about the brisket grilled cheese. We each had a cocktail and they were perfect! Our waitress Kayla was experienced and pleasant. The entire staff were all happy to treat their guests. We will be back!
