Ambler Texas Kitchen Cocktails

The atmosphere was amazing. The staff was very attentive to our requests. And food was beyond delicious. It's definitely a must if you are looking for a 5 star on the Riverwalk.

AMAZING BREAKFAST!!! Loved our stay at this hotel, and this restaurant made it. She is honestly the most sweet and amazing human being we have ever met. We came back for a second meal because we wanted to see her again. Thank you Rosa for being the most outstanding server we have ever had, your heart is gold and you make this restaurant shine. I pray God blesses you so much as you are pure light on this earth!

We stayed in the hotel and thought we'd try out the restaurant. Our server, Bellamy, was really excellent attentive, chatty and knew lots about the food but could also could answer our questions about San Antonio generally too as we were visiting from the UK. The food MAY have been a little overpriced but was really lovely the flat iron steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were great. There was a good selection of beers and drinks as well! The location itself was great nice western style decor without being over the top and it is close to the main riverwalk bars and restaurants without being really busy and crowded. Would highly recommend!

The waitress kept rushing us to order our mains when we hadnt even tasted our entrees. We ordered a bottle of wine and she served both our glasses literally almost to the top because it was just the 2 of us (me and my wife). Food average but that sense of being rushed really spoiled our evening.

The food here is very delicious, they serve you very well and very quickly and it is very pleasant to eat there because you are on the river bank. Look at everything, you have a very smooth time in that restaurant, I recommend it.
