Very nice atmosphere with well decorated spaces and interesting designs. Came here for restaurant week to try it out. The absolute best thing we had was the shrimp. The broccolini was undercooked and the salmon was slightly over cooked. The ceasar was good. Willing to come and try the regular menu again as the server said it was a creative attempt by the chefs. I liked the originality of the risotto paired with the chutney. Over all a good experience if you’re looking for a homey fine dining experience.
Not pictured but the goat cheese appetizer is a must order.
We stayed in the hotel and thought we'd try out the restaurant. Our server, Bellamy, was really excellent attentive, chatty and knew lots about the food but could also could answer our questions about San Antonio generally too as we were visiting from the UK. The food MAY have been a little overpriced but was really lovely the flat iron steak was cooked to perfection and the fries were great. There was a good selection of beers and drinks as well! The location itself was great nice western style decor without being over the top and it is close to the main riverwalk bars and restaurants without being really busy and crowded. Would highly recommend!
The waitress kept rushing us to order our mains when we hadnt even tasted our entrees. We ordered a bottle of wine and she served both our glasses literally almost to the top because it was just the 2 of us (me and my wife). Food average but that sense of being rushed really spoiled our evening.
The atmosphere was amazing. The staff was very attentive to our requests. And food was beyond delicious. It's definitely a must if you are looking for a 5 star on the Riverwalk.
