La Oaxaquena Mexican - Stone Mountain

I genuinely enjoy the food at this place—it's genuinely authentic Mexican cuisine. My go-to dish is the steak tacos with onions and cilantro, which I absolutely adore. Their Mexican rice is fantastic as well. It's a small grocery store with a little dining area, so it's not upscale, but it has a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it a great spot to enjoy a meal.

We received prompt and friendly service! The food was bursting with flavor, and even our picky kids loved it! The staff was extremely accommodating when we called in our order with special requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely return; this will be our new favorite taco spot! The prices were also quite reasonable!

I really love Mexican food, but my husband isn't as enthusiastic about it. Unfortunately, the dishes we received were a bit cold, and I'm not a fan of cold meals. Since we visited later in the evening, I suspect we might have been served leftovers. However, we intend to go back earlier next time because the atmosphere was delightful, the drinks were excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly.
