Hof's And Dining - Stoke-on-Trent

FOUR PEOPLE FOR LUNCH FOOD AND SERVICE EXCELLENT WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

Our friends arrived late, but the restaurant was very accommodating and kindly offered to wait for our order. Unfortunately, it was quite chilly, and I had to keep my coat on throughout the meal. The food was average; my partner had the curry and enjoyed it, while I opted for a stew (perfect for a cold winter day), though it was a bit greasy. Unfortunately, my clothes smelled of smoke when we left, as if they had absorbed the odors from what used to be a pub. I had high hopes for this place, but I don't think I'll be returning.

The bar and dining area are beautifully designed, with plenty of space between tables, giving it a rustic yet inviting atmosphere. The menu features some intriguing and unique dishes. We really enjoyed the signature South African recipes we tried, which were all well-seasoned—especially the African chicken curry, lamb roti, and the Jacobs Ladder barbecue ribs. The chocolate cake was delightful, and we also enjoyed the white wine. We will definitely be returning!

We had an amazing experience with the fried food on Sunday afternoon. The dishes were served on large plates, which encouraged us to share. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back soon!
