Perfect dorset village pub, very traditional and very small menu, all fresh for the table from local products, beautiful garden and probably the most beautiful village cooked in dorset. love it

Hello seasonal greetings, a big group of friends and I met for lunch today. we ordered from the Christmas menu.the friendly and hospitable atmosphere and welcome from the hostes was nice, real fire beautifully decorated interior.and fabulous hot perfectly cooked meals, made it an unforgettable occasion. I can't praise this pub high enough. it is a real village pub. it has the decor and atmosphere of a traditional pub with a modern menu. the personal is friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable about the foods and drinks. they help with individual nutritional requirements and were very accommodating when we had to make a last-minute booking. often fully booked so plan ahead! that will be worth it.
