Contribuiți la feedbackCalifornia hip hop artist SpenDoe is back with another restaurant review! I first came across Green Papaya on The Food Network and decided to make the trip to Stockton, CA to try their noodle soups. Let me tell you, their food is fantastic! The freshness, the spices, the way the flavors come together... incredible! The staff is welcoming and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. If you find yourself in Stockton, CA, be sure to give them a try. They also have a food truck, by the way. Let's support our local businesses.
I found the prices to be a little high for the papaya salad and spring rolls, but the large portions made up for it. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls was too sweet for my taste. However, overall, the dish had a good balance of greens to noodles.
We visited this restaurant multiple times before Covid-19 and absolutely love their food, especially the curries and soups. We are definitely planning to return in the future.
Good food, competitive pricing, good location. Friendly service. My husband enjoyed the flavor of the Pad Thai (Beef Chicken combo). I had Drunken Noodles (Chicken). It was an interesting dish, I enjoyed the chow fun style noodles, though I don't care for Mint leaves in food or overly salty foods. My husband also agrees that there was too much tomato-ey taste to the Drunken Noodles. Customers, please, close door behind you when entering or exiting, to keep flies out!
Very bad experience. I had the spring rolls that taste good, but the diving sauce was terrible. too sweet and yet pale. will not buy again! as for the mango sweet sticky rice, the rice was not sticky at all and tastes bland. mango was good. I was very disappointed when I was hyped. Please note to do something else for the diving sauce.
