Paul´s Lunch - Stockholm

Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of tasty options. The omelette was slightly overcooked, though.

Lovely restaurant with a modern rose gold bar. Me and my family had their linguine, french onion soup, wild mushroom and fried artichoke for dinner. Everything was great while only the broth for wild mushroom is slightly salty. The fried artichoke is a great choice...for vegetarian. The mushroom crips were perfect earthy and crunchy, goes well the creamy artichoke. The whole dish actually reminded me of hummus and flat bread or some raw vegetables. Overall, the service is good and the waiter who served us give us sufficient time to complete our course. On the contrary, the front of house should be more alert with the incoming guests as we waited for more than 10 mins without anyone coming out to lead us to the seats.

We had dinner for two. The restaurant is attached to the Haymarket by Scandic, so hotel guests get a discount. Pricing is reasonable for Stockholm (not cheap). The lighting is subdued with lots of mirrors and restrained background music so we enjoyed the ambiance. Wine...is available by glass (OK standard) or bottle. The food was well prepared and well presented. The steak was tender and cooked just right. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the dining experience and would recommend the restaurant to others.

I had the risotto, and my friend had the manchego. Both were really too small to call dinner, but they were so good that we didn't complain. There's lots of seating, and this is the more stylish but less expensive restaurant option in the main...Haymarket building area.
