When you arrive, you have to go to the counter, order and pay, and then choose a table and wait by it until a waiter come screaming your order number, not the fast food way but almost Concerning the food, it wasn’t really bad but not particularly good either for the price (215kr for a burger (120 , some fries (30 and a beer (65 , I could have the same meal at Max (real fast food for half the price. At least the place seems to be clean, but I won’t eat here again

Sometimes I wonder why people go crazy over a burger. This is one of the cases. Don't get me wrong. They are really good, juicy and tasty. But they are still burgers. Not even the best I've had, but really good. But when in here, go for the peanut butter shake. It's not just a shake. It's something else. Oh! And visit the cool toilet too..

A year ago when I visited I thought the milkshake was amazing and tasty burgers. Visited again recently and the burger still tastes good. But the bun is boring. And the milkshake was nothing like last time. Either they’ve changed something or I’ve just had some other amazing milkshakes so this one can’t compete anymore. Shame. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon.

My husband likes burgers so we had to make a visit to Lilys while in Stockholm. A variety of yummy burgers to choose from and french fries on the side can be ordered (other sides available too). If you do order the fries, there is plenty for two people to share. There is also a kids menu as well as it is a family friendly restaurant. The restaurant has a funky diner decor that took you back through time. Although not from the 60s, I really appreciated the Miami Vice beer that I had with my burger. Classic for me as I grew up in 80s. My husband enjoyed his vanilla milkshake that was so perfect for the diner theme. When we arrived, the line up to order your food was long but it moved very quickly and ample seating is available. Super friendly and fast staff to bring you your food. Great fun, great meal!

Lilys Burger offers good burgers in a cool setting. The place is nicely decorated, bringing you back to the late American 1950s and early 1960s. There is also a small terrace on the sidewalk. They serve also lots of American soft drinks you rarely find in restaurants such as Mountain Dew and Dr Pepper. My teenage boys felt like being back on holiday in the US.
