The Dining Room At The Stirling

We had a lovely lunch for my Mums birthday. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list was surprisingly extensive. The outside afternoon dining was magic and the food was delicious. We all had different meals and they all were delicious. Definitely be back again.

Disappointed, we have eaten at the Stirling previously and always had a good experience. Our last visit was far from that, very average quality of food and menu. Food was cold when it was served, some fillet steak was full of fat, and the port loin dish was way over cooked! Not great and a bit disappointing based on prior visits. They did take the food off the bill however, which was a nice gesture.

An enjoyable evening catching up with a friend. Food was excellent, outstanding service (as always) from the beautiful Lily.

Extensive menu, really nice meal good steak, tasty accompaniments. Good wine list. Good service from very pleasant and helpful staff. Perfect for pre theatre dinner. Pretty location, lovely décor.

The Stirling is usually always a reliable venue for a family occasion as this was. The food is good, not great but better than your average pub. We were five adults and two kids and all enjoyed their meals. There were a couple of hiccups with service, forgetting drinks and children’s desserts but on the whole the service is professional and friendly. We would return.
