The Allan Water Cafe - Stirling

Absolutely delightful. best Fish and Chip shop in Scotland by far. Fish and Chips and to die for. Service impeccable. Clearly very popular.

This cafe is owned by the hardest working people who are customer service focussed legends. The food never disappoints- fish (Haddock or Cod both awesome) and chips, black pudding or haggis supper. The burgers look great though not had one. Real potato chips. But lets talk about icecream, lots of different flavours made by the owners and oh my goodness its good. One issue. Parking is almost impossible of busy times but go anyway it’d be worth the parking fine.

Chips were lovely but unfortunately the batter on the haddock was raw tasting and soggy while.the fish itself was over cooked ...First and last time.coming I'm afraid ...on a positive note the staff was lovely...shame fish was terrible

A real, authentic Scots-Italian chippy! Always busy, the service is fast but very friendly the quality of fish is second to none and the chips are crispy and delicious.

Very good fish supper to takeaway, £9.25 for small haddock supper. BUT I spotted the man fetching fresh fish from the cold cabinet when two or three fillets fell on the floor.....the fish were just picked up and chucked somewhere..... I didn't see where the fish were thrown as behind the counter but I suspect into the batter mix..... Rather off-putting.
