A lovely location, met by a friendly waitress whose service was matched by a perfect coffee and breakfast , nice menu with fair prices , the informal layout that i enjoy , will visit again

Stepping into Carl's you are met with simple uncomplicated surroundings. Do not be fooled by the rustic seating and flavour of this quaint little place as it boasts a huge coffee presence. As an avid coffee drinker I enjoyed their blends and the breakfast was very tasteful. Service a bit on the slow side for my liking but being 5 kms from the Pretoria city centre, Carl's offer a space to meet, plan, kuier and relax in the nice neighborhood of Riviera Rietondale. A bit expensive in comparison to its peers but definitely worth the trip.

Absolutly love the place. Down to earth people running the coffee shop. Will most surely reccomend it for anyone looking for something new to try out

Best coffee in Pretoria and home of the awesome Draken beer! Food is just as awesome, some great sandwiches and burgers. Nice vibe and great area. Nog n Drakie!

If you're into coffee this is the place.. rustic with no fuss and just a nice meeting or catching up pozzy... They serve light treats and oh yeah sweet stuff!!!! And if you go between 4 6 your get coffe and cake for a reduced rate!!! Booyaa!
