Knoxie's Table At The Inn At The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Another wonderful visit! The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch.

We have dined at Knoxie’s at multiple locations, and as always, the food was excellent. During this visit on early New Year's Eve, the meal was very good, but the main courses were a bit underseasoned compared to what the menu suggested. This was likely due to the restaurant being quite busy. That said, we still enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

The service at the outdoor bar and butcher board was excellent, but the experience at our table was disappointing. We waited a long time to place our drink orders, and then even longer for our drinks to arrive. After that, it took a significant amount of time just to have our food orders taken. The food did come out in a reasonable timeframe, but the beet salad was the highlight of the meal, while the Nantucket seafood pasta was disappointingly small for an entrée and rather bland. We noticed that other tables around us had to repeatedly wave to get the attention of their servers, and the constant cries of a nearby baby were distracting, with the older patrons seemingly oblivious to the commotion. We had originally booked a brunch reservation for New Year’s Day, but we decided to cancel and opted for Cracker Barrel instead, as we didn't want to pay $52 per person for what turned out to be an overrated meal.

Absolutely stunning decoration and warm ambiente were our mealtime excellent and the service was impeccable. we will definitely come back!

The Rockfish special was delicious as was the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. We'd planned to have dessert of Gingerbread Crème Brulee, but when the server placed our order the kitchen had run out of this special. Considering it was only 7:30 so anyone eating dinner between 6 pm and 6:30 pm would be having dessert at this time, we thought it early to run out of this special dessert. Also, there was a cocktail that was way too strong for me to drink. I was asked if I wanted a different drink, but didn't realize there would be a charge for both cocktails. Overall, we'd eat here again as the entree's and cocktails we did drink, were delicious.
