I'm here regularly. we ordered each week. I get chicken masala, my wife gets gobi alo. it's always good. I can't exaggerate how good this place is if they don't like to eat Indian style, just try this place, it at least turned around me. service is great, the women who run the restaurant are really helpful and will explain to them every dish. I even went without a clue what I should order for a small party and they have put together a large amount of a mess. it is a hole in a wall, but if they are local, or simply go through, they go here, it brings a lot of other restaurants to shame.
My favorite place to eat from in queen annes county?. always very hospitable and friendly. I order or dine here at least once a week. will have been coming back 10/10?
The menu is somewhat limited. I had hoped to find lamb vindaloo, but set for a lamb shell and asked for it to be spicy. the seasoned were good! chaat samosa was very yogurt-y, not a bad thing, but not what I expected. well tasted. good portion sizes. everything was nice and hot. Nice to be welcomed by the owner mango letie was pretty good. what could be improved: the ambiente is about 30% and the prices are high, compared to similar locations. it is obvious that they are quite authentic with many small dingen trinkets that are located by others. the floor needs help, the lighting could be better. it should be more intimate for the experience. a total of 4 stars because it could be improved. I'm looking forward to seeing them do it sometime. They've been open for a year, so we see what's happening.
This review is strictly based off my most recent visit. I was so excited to eat my food as it was fresh and smelled really good. I ordered the chicken tikka kabob as I have before. The chicken is bone in so I prefer to cut it. Upon cutting in to my chicken and taking a couple of bites, as I got closer to the bone I could see blood running from my chicken. I then had to put it in the oven so that my meal wasn’t wasted as I live 30 minutes away and I got my food close to closing time. Otherwise, the food is good, but this visit was disappointing.
