Sterling Ice Cream

The hot dog plate here is fantastic! While prices have gone up over the years, it remains a go-to spot for our family to enjoy a foot-long hot dog plate with onion rings and fries. To top it off, some ice cream makes for a perfect summer afternoon treat.

The best roasted mussels I've ever had! We travel all the way from New Hampshire just for their fried mussels, fries, and onion rings. We've sampled many spots along the North Shore of Massachusetts, and even the renowned clam shops cannot match the quality and consistency of the Sterling Ice Cream Bar. I'm eagerly looking forward to their reopening for the 2010 season!

Fantastic spot! We visited after a sunny day at Davis Farmland, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our outing. Despite the variety of ice flavors, service was prompt, allowing us time to choose what we wanted without any wait. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our kids. The ice was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. We appreciated being able to park and relax on some benches in the shade. Overall, it was a lovely experience! If we're ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stop by!

Delicious fried scallops and some of the best onion rings I've ever had! Easily baked, crunchy, not oily.

Just ordered takeout Seafood food platter and was the best I have had in a long time...I'm totally impressed with the whole meal...no need for tarter in the haddock, everything fresh and flavorful and perfect amount of crunchy breading, not too much or too little...and the onion rings are still top notch. Thanks and look forward to my next visit!!
