Senor Tequila's - Sterling

Went here for my birthday dinner, made a reservation for 10 and our table was ready when we got there! All the staff was in costume for Halloweekend and

Mexican food is very hard to screw up, yet somehow Senor Tequila managed to do just that.

There's an abundance of Mexican restaurants in Loudoun county and I've tried many of them. Senor Tequila's comes closest to some really awesome, authentic Mexican food. This is the real deal and the portions are huge. The atmosphere is outstanding with tables and chairs each sporting unique Southwestern images. These are the kind of chairs and bar accessories anyone would be proud to have and display inner home.  They have a full bar with a wide assortment of Tequila and other hard liqueurs and my wife give two thumbs up for their Margarita and she's a tough critic. Señor Tequila is not a chain restaurant and you can tell by the freshness of the food and the vegetables they use. The way they cut them and their color and texture demonstrate freshness and a kitchen staffed by skilled chefs not some kids microwaving precooked garbage. Everything I have had there exceeded my expectations. I believe that they have been in this location for at least years that says a lot about the quality of their food and service it's all good. One interesting thing they do is to take the refried beans and, instead of plopping them under the main dish, (many people aren't big fans of RFB they place them in small taco cups to be eaten as the diner wishes. Small detail but much appreciated ny me and I suspect many others.  Also they have a wide assortment of vegetarian dishes for those who are on that type of diet. Their taco shells are just crispy enough NOT to break into pieces and the smell and texture tells me that they are made fresh daily if not hourly. The Fajita is enormous, so I recommend (if that's your pleasure) its the perfect dish to split with someone else or you can take it home in a doggie bag (or Chihuahua  bag I suppose). My intention is to try everything on the menu so I will be adding further comments later.  Be sure to check back regularly.

The authentic Mexican atmosphere and the decor is amazing. The service from the moment you go to the restaurant is excellent. The quality of food is exactly what you pay; excellent. Go to the new Senor Tequilas in Cascades, you can say that this family business takes its traditional standards of authentic Mexican folklore decoration to heart. When it comes to service, it will always be a slight delay in preparing Authentic Senor Tequilas Food. I mean, his prepared Fresh. I would recommend sharing a large margarita while you wait until the delicious arrival. As for drinks, you can never go wrong with a Mexican bulldog. It's the margarita fucked into her with the corona. It's great; try. Definitely recommend.
