Purple Spoon - Sterling Heights

I discovered this restaurant while searching for a new ice cream spot to try. It had great reviews, and the photos looked fantastic. The venue was spacious and clean, and the staff members were very friendly. I initially intended to get frozen yogurt but ended up opting for the rolled ice cream instead. They also offered ice cream mixed with cereal, which reminded me of Kith! In the end, I chose the Ferrero Rocher flavor, although many of the other options were tempting. They suggested a box for my order, but it seemed a bit unusual to me, so I settled on a cup. After seeing some pictures on Yelp, I wish I had gone for the box instead. The ice cream itself was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to find Guernsey Farms ice cream, especially the pistachio flavor, which I love. My mom tried it for the first time and enjoyed it as well! Overall, I had a great experience, and I would definitely come back. My serving was quite filling, and I couldn't finish it all. I saw some comments about it being expensive, but I think sharing a single order is a good option! My total came to nearly $12 for my ice cream and two scoops of Guernsey, but I'm used to paying that much just for the Guernsey, so it doesn't seem overpriced to me!

I have to be honest; this was some of the messiest food I've ever had, but it was really delicious. There's no doubt about it. However, I can see how some people might be a little irritated by the messiness.

I've been attempting to reach them for a week regarding a communion party. I've called multiple times and submitted the online form. The customer service has been very disappointing, as no one has responded to me, despite the form stating that I would receive a call within 24 hours. It seems we'll be taking our business elsewhere. I shouldn't have to make this many calls without receiving a reply.

It was my first experience trying rolled ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious! They offered a great variety of options to choose from!

We love Purple Spoon! Great shakes and ice cream. Staff is always friendly, everyone is wearing masks, very clean establishment and delicious desserts! Cookies n Cream and Banana Split desserts are my fav!!!
