Lakeside Family - Sterling Heights

It's has been a bit since we have been at the restaurant. O my it's still the best. The dill pickle soup is the best and city chicken is almost like my mom's and the pierogi pan fried is excellent

I absolutely love this place. Its a hidden gem if you are looking for good polish food. Not fancy by any means, but very good food. They even offer a bowl of soup for $1 more if you get an entree. Their soup is great as well. They make their own city chicken in house and is very, very tasty. Anytime im looking for polish comfort food, this is one of my go to spots.

My wife and I felt like having cabbage soup this afternoon and we stopped in with our youngest grand-daughter. The cabbage soup was so outstanding that I ordered a quart to go. But the cream of our visit was the service and the friendliness of the employees. Lydia brought our grandchild toys and a coloring book and said that her meal was on her. Our waitress, Diane, was professional and very friendly. They all wanted to make sure that our visit was quite enjoyable. Thank you for being you, ladies! We will be back!

In April 2022, I visited after church with my wife and three daughters. The food was excellent! My wife and I shared the Lakeside Combo (also pictured), which is consistently enjoyable as it includes a variety of dishes. This place truly offers the best Polish food in the area, and the staff is always great with families. My four-year-old is a big fan of the pickle soup. Back in February 2021, I had an amazing experience with their Polish food, and I highly recommend trying the city chicken!

Delicious Polish food at incredible prices! The city chicken reminded me of my childhood! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is wonderful as well. It's definitely worth the trip to experience!
