Cheng's Asian Bistro - Sterling Heights

It's been a staple in the area since it opened 6 or 7 years ago. The interior is always clean and the food is superb. They're extremely consistent and the vegetable fried rice is the best I've ever had.

Best in the area and it’s not even close! It is the only place that we will order takeout from. I miss when they were open. It was actually nice atmosphere when you can come in and sit down.

I'll give it 31/2 . My order was almond chic dinner w/ egg roll and chic fried rice. All was good and tasty but for 13.00 I got 2 chic breast fillet pieces. My other favorite Chinese restaurant in Troy( 18mi -Rochester rd) is equally tasty with 3 chic fillets. I know, it's just an extra piece of chicken...but it's an extra piece of chicken breast. 2 slices of chicken breast to me is stingy when paying 13 for a dinner. That's just me. Their food was tasty though. Just comparing these 2 good restaurants I go to.

This is the best on the area. Cleanest restaurant too. You will pay a bit more but the quality and portions are fantastic. I've never had a meal that wasn't fresh. They're only humans and make mistakes sometimes (sauce leak). You people have no concept of service, I swear. Reading some of these reviews was maddening. Crying babies. Keep it up, Cheng's. You're doing fine , given the circumstances.

I go there at least three times a month. But this was the very first time that I wasn’t satisfied with my meal. I order sweet and sour chicken/peppers steak with shrimp fried rice and the rice was over cooked and very little sauce on my pepper steak and sweet and sour sauce. I realize that there’s a sign on the door for a dishwasher, cashier and cook. That is normally my clue to not order but I had placed my order over the phone. I’ll give them a few months before returning to ensure that they have the proper people so that the food is not lacking it good tasty food that once was there.
