Emiles Pub & Eatery - Stephenville

Since the new renovations the restaurant isn't as family friendly in terms of seating. A larger table the can seat at least 6 people in the family area would be better instead there is a large table that can seat 10 people over in the bar side where kids cannot go. The menu has been changed and there are no substitutions with anything on the menu so basically what you see on the menu is what you get. There is also some food items not listed on the menu so you have to ask for certain things. Along with some prices in the food has gone up. But the staff is still very helpful and friendly.

Not overly impressed with the food, it was ok, not great. Staff was very nice. More seafood dinner selections would have been ideal.

The taste of the food at Emilies Pub & Eatery is very good but the food is always cold. When asking the servers why, they say it's because they have to work room service, the bar and the dining room. This is why our food once ready is sitting and getting cold.

So I've had the pleasure to dine here on several occasions. The environment is very friendly and the service is good. I like that on one end of the pub there was a "Quieter" section, which would allow one to carry on a conversation without having to raise ones voice.The Service was prompt and polite...As for the food. I would stay away from the nachos and chicken wings, they seemed dry and tasteless...the salads seem to be a better choice...if you are into fried food, you might like this pub for sure.I appreciate that on the last Saturday of each month they offer a "Folk Night" with locals singing and playing a mixture of traditional and varied music. The Pub is clean and tidy and I would feel comfortable bring someone from out of town there.If you are a coffee drinker...this is NOT the place to go...it does not offer a strong cup of coffee but rather a weak watered down version.

Whatever you wanted ...they found it (with the exception of fresh fruit for yogurt believe it or not!!) Good food....nothing gourmet but you received what you expected which was all I wanted. Great service. Friendly and helpful.
