Jay's Cafe - Steinbach

Ordered loaded cheeseburgers and onion rings. The patties are homemade, perfectly cooked and huge. Actual cheddar cheese was on there and not the icky processed stuff. Big portion of yummy onion rings. They know how to make burgers. Yum!!

Farmer's sausage, Jay burger and split the poutine. Sausage was bang on. The burger must have been over an inch thick and cooked perfect. I don't usually care for big patties but I will be ordering this again, for sure. Absolutely amazing flavour. The poutine was delicious and I am picky about gravy. Staff was cheerful and jump to the pump. Place was super clean. Order pickup was exact, on time and HOT! And the price was less than I would expect to pay, and I am a cheapskate. Come Hungry!!

This is an excellent place for lunch or breakfast. Great value, large portions, and the best chocolate pie on the planet not to mention the Jay's burger and home made fries!

Breakfast is okay not great and not bad. The eggs were done very well some thing a lot of cooks can't do. Ordered rye toast and got white. The hash browns are the type you buy frozen in a super market.

Service and meals are excellent! Where can you get fried bologna? This is where it can happen! If you haven’t had it you will likely not comprehend but if you had it as a youngster, go back to your roots! The locals frequent this establishment.
