The food was very delicious. The ambience was welcoming.

In September 2020 we called the Künstlerhof Roofensee at home for a few days. The accommodation is available to the customer from 14:00 on the agreed arrival day. For us, however, it was a bit difficult to find the reception. But it wasn't impossible. The farm is very idyllic. A lush little place with absolute feel-good atmosphere. The apartment was tastefully furnished and very comfortable to stay. In the cosy courtyard you can discover various artworks. Too bad I found that the apartment was not equipped with everyday things. So there was no way to wash your hands with soap on arrival, nor did there find some salt or pepper in the kitchen. The dishes were counted. 4 x cutlery, 4 plates, 4 cups, etc. What is the dishwasher? Use would be a waste of energy. It wouldn't have disturbed me. What annoyed me was the fact that the café had not opened during our stay. After arrival, you first drink a coffee and let everything work out, so it was excluded. To be pampered in the evening. So we had to take us at least 10 km by car. There is neither another restaurant nor a baker, supermarket or comparable. 2020 there is no question. However, I expect to state the circumstances before arrival. For my part, I was looking forward to the overall package and so I chose this accommodation. Last but not least, it is worth noting that you can explore the area on foot super. I recommend a hike around the Roofensee and a visit to the NaturParkHaus.

Great ambience, great staff. Ideal for celebrating weddings or other occasions. Lovely rooms, so you feel comfortable. Always happy. Absolutely recommended!
