Wild Plum - Steamboat Springs

Cool grocery store with a nice wine selection. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The prices were a little better than I expected for the location, given this is really the only store of its kind near the mountain hotels.

My first online order in Wild plum was absolutely fantastic! ???? They have such delicious burgers, everything was fresh and for a reasonable price! Much better than all the well-known places in downtown who downsized their quality and went up with prices! Wild Plum is my new favourite place to eat. Keep up the good work, I 'm looking forward to try your pizzas!

The posted hours indicate that the restaurant is "open until 9pm." However, we visited on a Saturday evening during peak ski season in March 2022 at 8:30pm and found a line of over five people waiting for hot food items, specifically pizzas, which are typically easy and quick to prepare. There seemed to be plenty of staff and an adequate supply of ingredients available, yet they were unable to serve us or the others who were waiting. It's disappointing that Wild Plum, the only option for overpriced pizza on the mountain, couldn't manage to uphold their own posted hours. I would rate them zero stars for customer service and reliability. If 8:30pm is when you close, you should clearly update your hours!

We've been visiting this place for the past few months, and we've really enjoyed the salads, sandwiches, and breakfast options. The grocery selection is a bit limited, but we usually manage to find what we need. We also really appreciate the friendly service!

I ordered the fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious—cooked to perfection and full of flavor. My husband started with shishito peppers, which were nicely blistered and very tasty. For his main course, he had a Chicken Pesto sandwich paired with a glass of Malbec, and he thoroughly enjoyed it all. The scenery is stunning as well, making for a wonderful experience overall. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back. Thank you, WildPlum!
