Western BBQ - Steamboat Springs

We had a nice window table and it got better from there. After we uploaded the menu, we ordered it. I had a fabulous ragnars salat. it was so fresh and delicious. my man had the smorgasbord..it was more than he could eat and of course I tried some of the many items on his board. beautifully prepared and served. my friend had a little salad and half a reuben and she said it was delicious. we can't expect to go back. it was a very nice experience!

Large service with which we all came in contact, from host to server.

This is our favorite place to eat at for lunch at Steamboat. Everything tried was impressive from the golden onion soup to the elk burger and wiener schnitzel to the cheesecake dessert. This place breaks all stereotypes off bad mountain resort food.

I have never had gratuity auto added at Ragnars and we eat here several times a winter in group sizes of 2-8 During covid we are tipping higher percentage (23-30)but on principal did not as we were not shown our total bill with pass holder discount despite asking for it to confirm the tip was included the waitress said loudly yes it was added at 18% a regular tip for our family is 20% This was by far our poorest “service” experience at Ragnars. Food is always exceptional and that was no different on this day and as we are long time locals and we will continue to dine here as we assume this a one off In fact my daughter and I returned today
