Shack - Staunton

I don't know why it took us so long to get to a meal at The ShackEverything we had was delicious.

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I went there for brunch, thankfully I had made a reservation as it is small and was full.

Do not eat here. It is overpriced and poor quality. Our group of 4 spent close to $1k on our dinner and drinks at the shack, and then immediately went to the depot grille after for filling quality food. If you’re looking for an upscale spot in Staunton go to Zynodoa.

We were beyond enthusiastic to dine here however could not have been more disappointed in an establishment. Loud metal music in an acoustically deficient small bldg, food poorly prepared and not at all homemade as told. I honestly do only know which plate was worse and we have traveled everywhere continental /international to dine. Several people there complained while there this evening also. Just haven’t been this disappointed/disgusted in a long time with cuisine. Not to mention carrying food from back of garage uncovered and person cooking vaping and handled food without washing hands witnessed.Disgraceful!
