Village Inn Pizza Parlor - Statesville

I primarily order takeout now, but the customer service here has been outstanding. It's clear that the staff genuinely care about their customers. Additionally, their pizza and ingredients are fresh and tasty. Village Inn has become my favorite spot for pizza in Statesville, especially since they offer cauliflower crust.

I had a great experience at the restaurant! They offer an unlimited buffet featuring pizza, salad, and drinks for just $13. I definitely left feeling satisfied. You can request any pizza you want, which is a fantastic option. The atmosphere is friendly, and the waitress was really nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there!

I have been a long-time customer of Village Inn Pizza, visiting various locations over the years, including this one multiple times. However, my experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing this evening. The staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves than attending to customers. The salad bar was in disarray, with food strewn about and many containers empty. The spaghetti and pizza stations were also messy, with food scattered everywhere. There were no clean drinking cups available, trash littered the floor, and several tables were left dirty. Additionally, I noticed one employee with very long facial hair preparing pizza without any kind of hair net. I left feeling completely let down.

When it's hot out, VIP serves the best pizza around, but today the buffet left much to be desired. The salad bar was excellent as usual, but I struggled to find much hot pizza at the buffet. They seemed to be making pizzas quickly to accommodate the crowd, but they were cooling down too fast. Some of the soda taps were empty, which was disappointing. Maybe I should have followed the example of the guy in the next booth who was enjoying 7 or 8 beers and piling up 40 or 50 slices of pizza, regardless of their temperature ... what a spectacle! For now, I think I'll stick to ordering takeout until they figure out how to keep the buffet pizzas warm and get the drink fountains sorted out.

I stopped by with my sister-in-law. She opted for the buffet while we ordered a large pizza. The crust was thin but flavorful. As for the buffet, there's not much to mention—it's just a standard buffet.
