The restaurant had a cozy Mexican ambiance, friendly staff, and the food was simply amazing. I highly recommend it! Plus, parking was a breeze with easy access off of Hwy 70.
They have a great menu. I had street tacos, 2 carnitas (a little dry), and 2 asada, which were kinda tough and grizzly. I like that they serve cucumbers as a side. The salsa that comes tortilla chips is watery. The Chile toreados were cooked perfectly and very good. Service was great and I'll definitely be back.
Second time here. Loved it the first time, so had to try again. Just as we remembered, service was excellent. Chips and salsa is very good. We both ordered the California burrito. One with Chicken, one with chorizo. Both outstanding. Truly delicious authentic Mexican food.
Waiter was great, food was pretty good, no complaints here , but atmosphere needed a little sprucing up, dark old ceiling fans and not built for larger parties
Pretty standard Mexican food. It can get busy during lunch, it is right next to a highway so lunch time is pretty popular with people who work nearby especially Spanish speakers. I never seen the dining area full though. Even though it has no frills, I think it is little bit cheaper than Mi pueblo or other more popular Mexican restaurant nearby. I would get torta or quesadilla, then you have a quick and delicious lunch.
