Marty’s Pub Grill - Statesville

I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. I met some wonderful locals and the bartender was amazing! I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again. The prices were great, the drinks were awesome, and the people were cool. Although I didn't try any food, I'm sure it's just as good. Thank you.

I heard that this restaurant is known for their great wings. I sat at the bar and found the bartenders to be just okay. I had to initiate every order and was never asked if I wanted anything. I had to ask for a beer, a menu, and to order when I was ready. I ended up ordering a draft beer and 12 Honey Habanero wings. A regular customer sitting next to me was greeted immediately and asked about ordering, suggesting that regulars receive better service. The patrons at the bar were friendly. The wings took a long time to come out, making me think they had been forgotten. When they finally arrived, I found them to be on the small side and not very spicy. They were okay, but not great. Overall, this place was okay.

The service was okay but the food was awful. It took 45 minutes for our food to arrive, supposedly because of a new cook, which was reflected in the taste. The pizza was undercooked with old dough, and the French Dip was served cold with lunch meat. We visited on September 13th around 6:30pm and had issues with both dishes. The French Dip came with cheese despite ordering it without, and when sent back it returned as roast beef lunch meat rolled up and cold. The service was decent, with a young lady apologizing and blaming the new cook for the mishaps. Other customers also seemed unhappy with their food.

I had a burger and a voodoo ranger, and the burger was so good!!! They cook it well done and I prefer medium rare but I ate the whole burger and the fries were amazing. Point blank you want a good burger and a beer and leave stuffed..... and satisfied this is the place for you in statesville.

Marty's pub is best in town. Big juicy burgers great wings. Yummy healthy salads. Amazing friendly service. Love the TV's watch sports play cornholes or pool No wait. Thank you guys. As always delicious food.
