Zz's Pizza - Staten Island

The pizza here is really good. But I wouldn't recommend the ziti. I had it before and it was so bad I had to throw it out. The music is a little loud here but it is like considered a bar. They do serve alcohol and people do come here just to drink. The staff is friendly. But the homeland security guy paraded his dog through the food area which was kind of creepy.. I don't like dogs around my food... That is just me. Anyways if you want a quick bite to eat at the Ferry it is probably one of the better and cheaper places with a 2 slice and soda special for $6.

Not bad for a quick bite. Super friendly staff, greeted everyone and provided good service. Food is not spectacular but it was hot and delicious. I had the philly cheese sandwich. The bread was soft and just enough gooey cheese to make it a nice sandwich. My wife loved the pizza but in my opinion she ruined it by asking it to be well done so to me it was a cracker with cheese on it.

Stopped here because we were starving after our ferry tours. This is more of a stop after a long day to drink and eat pizza before I head home kind of place. The quality of the food wasn 't fresh and when I think of New York Pizza I 'm looking for freshness. The pizza is already made and sits in the pans until a slice is selected then it 's placed in the oven to reheat. Is this how New York Pizza is? Because I 'm extremely disappointed by the quality of the pizza. There isn 't really anywhere to sit and they had trash bags sitting on the floor where guest can see them.

The food was average. I would recommend it if you need to grab something quick before hopping on the ferry, but otherwise I wouldn't eat there again. I had a slice of pizza which was alright. There's not a lot of seating either so it's more of a grab-and-go place.

Wish I could eat whatever I wanted without gaining a single pound...wonder what that's like..UGH! ZZ pizzas is located inside the ferry... There's a a bar on the side of the restaurant...ZZ pizza makes the absolute worst pizza ever....It tastes like the ingredients are left overs from the other day.... The crust isn't good either....It's hard....not crunchy or soft and chewy.... It's just the worst pizza ever made! Limited to seatings...
