Yum Yum - Staten Island

I previously used my debit card to place an order at this restaurant and was not required to show identification or provide a signature. However, when I placed another order the next day (3/23), I was suddenly asked to show ID and provide a signature. This inconsistency in their policy is confusing.

During the pandemic, prices increased and the quality of food decreased at Yum Yum restaurant. Portion sizes became smaller and the overall food quality suffered. What used to be a great dining experience at Yum Yum has now become a quick and disappointing meal. Ordering by phone, I was disappointed with the lack of taste in the Singapore noodles which were dry and lacking in shrimp. The shrimp and broccoli in sauce was clumpy and the broccoli was bitter and overcooked. I spent a significant amount of money on a meal that lacked quality and care in its preparation. I do not plan on ordering from Yum Yum again and will instead opt for Chinese food from establishments in Brooklyn or Manhattan. If there are any excellent Chinese restaurants in Staten Island, please recommend them to me. The decline in food quality and increase in prices during the pandemic is concerning and needs to be addressed.

We ordered food and waited for an hour. When our order arrived, there was a missing item, so we called the restaurant. However, they did not offer to send the missing item or rectify the mistake. Additionally, the lomein dish was not to our liking as it was overwhelming.

Food is really good and I like the way they package the cookies, sauces, and tea. No complaints at all.

Prok stemmed dumplings were fantastic.Pork fried rice had 2 peices of pork in the general tso's rice combo. regural combo not lunch combo). I had high Hope's for this place and will not order again from This location
