Ivano's Italian - Stateline

The experience was okay, but the service was incredibly slow. We had made a reservation for a party of nine on a Wednesday night in August a few days in advance, so they were aware of our arrival. The restaurant was quite empty at the time. Unfortunately, it took between 90 to 120 minutes for our food to be served after we placed our orders. To make matters worse, they attempted to sell us another bottle of wine while we waited. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Nestled in a strip mall in Lower Kingsbury is a hidden gem of an Italian restaurant called Ivano's. This elegant and intimate eatery perfectly captures the essence of Italy. The menu features authentic Neapolitan dishes, each accompanied by a delightful dressing, as well as roasted rolls and salad. The ambiance, with its white tablecloths and candlelight, creates a lovely setting for an evening out, complemented by attentive service despite the restaurant's simple location. A selection of wines is also available to enhance your dining experience. Ivano's mother lends her culinary talents to create the most delicious cannoli, featuring a crispy shell that encases a luscious creamy filling, topped with fresh strawberries.

The appetizers, particularly the extraordinary garlic rolls and antipasto, were a feast for both the eyes and the palate! The exquisite wine we chose was exceptional as well. For our main dish, we selected the lasagna with meat sauce, which featured a wonderfully creamy sauce. The portions were very generous, and we definitely took some home. I highly recommend this fabulous Italian restaurant to anyone seeking the best Italian dining experience! We plan to return as often as possible. Bon appétit!

Linguine with mush (olive oil and garlic choice) was great. the garlic bread was the best I ever had. it's not your normal garlic bread.

Hidden Italian gem in Tahoe! All fresh made high quality Italian food just like you want served like grandma made it. Ivano owner comes out to check on tables often he and is staff were great.
