Happy Valley Brewing Company

This was our second visit to this restaurant, and it took place during graduation weekend. Thankfully, we were able to find seating without a reservation, which is definitely advisable during busy times like games or graduations. I personally prefer the upstairs barn area since it's brighter than the basement, but both areas offer plenty of seating. The restaurant is well-decorated and boasts a fantastic selection of pub fare alongside excellent homemade beer—something I'm particularly picky about as a beer enthusiast. They also offer a good variety of mixed drinks and wine for non-beer drinkers. I've consistently enjoyed the food, especially the short rib grilled cheese, which is outstanding! Our service was excellent, although I did notice one rather grumpy employee who seemed overwhelmed by the graduation festivities and a bit too confrontational about minor issues. Fortunately, our server was amazing. While parking can be a bit tight, there are spots available both in front and in the back that seem sufficient. Overall, it’s a great value with something for everyone. We’ll definitely be returning!

We arrived to a warm greeting, and our table was ready just as we requested. We tried the Sunday Pizza and Beer Special, and both the pizza and the beer were excellent. The restaurant is a cool spot located in an old bank barn. My wife especially loved the bird-shaped light fixtures.

As soon as you walk in, you are embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere that fosters a sense of community. Normally, I would opt for a sampler, but since it was our seventh stop, I decided it would be easier to sample a few small pours before choosing my drink. I went with the Malty Ball Amber, while my wife chose the Pilsner, as she has a fondness for German beers. Happy Valley Brewery is nothing short of outstanding. Each brew is crafted with passion and precision, telling a story of innovation and dedication to the craft. Whether you're a fan of hoppy IPAs, rich stouts, or crisp lagers, there’s something on tap to please every palate. The brewery’s commitment to quality is evident in every pint, making each sip a wonderful experience. But Happy Valley Brewery is more than just excellent beer; it’s a hub of creativity and community. The welcoming ambiance encourages you to relax, whether you’re catching up with friends, enjoying live music, or simply taking in the laid-back vibe. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to offer recommendations or share insights about the brewing process. One of the standout features of Happy Valley Brewery is its commitment to sustainability and local sourcing. They proudly use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, supporting local farmers and producers while crafting flavors that truly reflect the region. This dedication to quality and community distinguishes Happy Valley Brewery and makes each visit feel like a celebration of local craftsmanship. They also had some enticing food options, and I’ve decided that next time, this will be our go-to place for both food and beer. The brewery has an upstairs and a basement, which made it a bit of a challenge to navigate after visiting several other places that day. Overall, Happy Valley Brewery was our favorite among the breweries we visited that day, and I can’t wait to go back when we return to the area.

Food was great and the service was fantastic. Great place to hang out and have a few beers.

HVB was such a good experience! My work group of 15* guys went here for dinner and the ladies that served us did a phenomenal job. No issues and they were super kind and friendly. We got multiple orders of wings and they were delicious. The BBQ and buffalo sauces weren't overly powerful which is how I like them. I ordered the Italian sub for my entree and it was pretty good! The balsamic dressing on it was amazing. Overall a great time and hope to be back soon!
