Champs Sports Grill - State College

This is a great spot to catch up with friends. The appetizers are delicious. Price ranges from $10 to $20 per person. Food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5 rating.

Our server was awful. We requested the meatball appetizer and fried mozzarella, but she never informed us that they were out of meatballs and failed to put in the order for the mozzarella. When we inquired about it, she became rude and claimed we didn't order any appetizers. Despite it being move-in weekend and the restaurant being busy, the long wait of over an hour for our cold food was inexcusable. It was disheartening since it had been a while since my last visit and I had been eagerly anticipating it.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. The lighting in our area was a bit dim, making it difficult to read the bill. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
