Vowell's Market Place - Starkville

The experience was quick and efficient. Most patrons were wearing masks appropriately. They had a great deal on Jumbo Vidalia onions for just $0.79 each. Additionally, they offered individual coolers for every buck spent, which is a nice touch. These onions are hard to find in most grocery stores around here.

I’m not sure why I tend to overlook Vowell's when I'm shopping for groceries. The store is clean, nicely designed, and the staff is both friendly and helpful. During my recent visit, I stopped by two other supermarkets and supercenters in search of brisket for Father's Day weekend. At the butcher counter, the attendant let me know they were also out of brisket, but he kindly suggested other places I might check. Although I didn’t find what I was looking for, I definitely made a mental note to shop at Vowell's more frequently in the future.

It was a good experience. You have a package deal where you can buy 5 packs of meat for $19.99 and I think it's a good deal.

This place is truly amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the business manager, Mr. Max, is fantastic. The aisles are spacious and clean, and the prices are great. They offer an extensive selection of items, including a dedicated section for products made in Mississippi. They're committed to supporting local businesses, so it's only right that we support them as well. This morning, one of the staff members helped me so much with a smile on her face, making everything look effortless. Mr. Dennis in the meat department made it easy for me to get 500 pounds of ham! I give this store a perfect 10/10. It's a stellar place. You should definitely check it out!

They have a great meat market, an excellent beer election for the town, and really nice cashiers. They don't always have what I'm looking for, including certain brands or fresh produce. In that way the market is limited. I still prefer to shop here.
