Happy Teriyaki - Stanwood

Not sure what happened, but our last 2 visits have been awful.We used to eat in or take out from here almost weekly, always had consistently good food.Went in with my in-laws and ordered a number of dishes.The fried rice was so overcooked and mushy, and had maybe half the usual ingredients in it. It was just gross, and we had 2 orders go to waste.We chalked it up to an off night and I went back with my son for lunch the next week. We ordered beef teriyaki, shrimp tempura, and tuna pork bowl.The shrimps were sraight up the grossest thing I have ever had in a restaurant.They were cold, rubbery, massively overcooked, and the batter was soggy.It was like they made them an hour earlier, and then microwaved them.The tuna poke bowl was good, but we never got our drinks.I'm sad to have lost one of my favourite regular restaurants, but I can't being myself to go back.*edit*It's loud if it's busy. Wait long time even not busy. I saw new face. They may change something.

I've been going here for the last 5 years or so since I've lived in stanwood and the food has always been consistent. I usually get the katsu for my 3 year old, always fresh and delicious. Definitely would recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Great Food, Katsu Chicken Was A Little Dark And Dry For My Liking, Great Sauce, Excellent Chicken Teriyaki, Thin, Soft, Tasty, Does Not Taste Like Chemicals (Tenderizer) Like Some Places.Few Parking Spots But Other Parking Close And Worth The Walk, Will Eat Here Again When I Am In The Area.

Best place in town. I eat here all the time. Staff is awesome .. always Calls me by name and knows my order when I call . I've tried everything on the menu just about and I'll tell ya . Nothing has been even sub par . It's all amazing .. and I'm always one to tell it like it is. All the people I have brought with me always say its the best..so if you want sushi . Or a bomb chicken teriyaki. I promise u this is the place to go ..

When I moved to Stanwood I was told to try this place, thought how good can it really be?! YES it’s that’s good ! I will go 1-2 times a week! Husband loves it too. Everything taste fresh and made to order. Everyone who works here is so friendly and nice . Forever custom
