Dos Reales Mexican Restaurant Steak House Bar

After reading some of the other reviews, I was looking forward to trying this place. I was disappointed in the salsa to start, the flavor was a little tart for my taste. I ordered 3 burrito combo and opted to make deluxe, which adds guacamole and sour cream. When our food was served, there was no guacamole or sour cream. The chicken burritos were not bad, white shredded chicken and smothered in sauce. The shredded beef burrito was disappointing, portions of it almost looked and tasted like pork. The sauce was a little bland, and the portions of lettuce and Pico was enough for one burrito maybe. Rice was average, and the refried beans were heavily flavored with pork lard. I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed overall.

Came in to order food to go. Ordered the Super Nachos with ground beef, Carne Asada and Burrito. The place was starting to get busy on a Saturday lunch so our food took a bit longer than we had expected. Our to go order was ready after 25 minutes. The nachos were good. Carne Asada was tender. Overall, food was better than expected. We will definitely be back!

My Fiancé and I had a GREAT experience at Dos Reales. We ordered a Carne asada plate and the street tacos de asada. The carne asada was so tasty and well cooked for both the dishes. The portions were great as well, and we even asked for a side of queso fresco, our waitress hooked it up! Our waitress was truly amazing, super nice and other staff checked in on us to make sure the food was tasting good (it very much was) and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic mexican food! Also they are open later than most restaurants in the area which worked out great for us after a long day.
