Being the first customers, ahead of the crowd, we had the benefit of face time with Kip, who manages the house, and Chef Dennis, a one man kitchen magician. Great food and friendly well timed service made it a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Next time we go, we’re reserving seats at the bar to watch the kitchen. While it lasts, order the charcuterie plate. The duck prosciutto is incredible.
We were just driving by and saw a new place open, so we popped in. I couldn't have been more impressed, this place seems to fit the area like a glove. Local food, rotating menu, good wine and Busch tallboys just what we needed. We had the Duck pizza, the Duck was incredibly tender and juicy. We met the owner who seems like a great and passionate about what he does. We will be going back for sure to see what else they do.
The elk scallopini was beyond delicious! A must have and so far my favorite! I felt pampered from the moment we sat down! My meal was amazing from start to finish. And soaking those berries in Grand Marnier was genius... paired with chantilly cream creme brulee. Perfection
OMG I only had a great dinner. Fatuccine with pheasant, also steak with potatoes, tomato soap and a great salad. With Dessert. Everything was homemade and grown locally. What can I say, great service, great company, great wine and beautiful music. I didn't have the pheasant since England cooked it right. Ashley and I shared dessert blueberry crumbs with sweet cream. All local food and wine produced locally. 5 stars I will take all the companies from the city, this is a special place to celebrate a special occasion.
We went for the first time tonight and it won't be the last!! Great food and great staff! Stanwood needed a place like this food is so fresh (and locally). To make the cook so passionate and take so much care in his craft, this place makes so special and unique.
