Contribuiți la feedbackLocated in Rodeo 39 Public Market is RTE Ready To Eat. This restaurant offers a variety of vegan options and fresh food. You can customize your plate with base proteins and vegetables. Options include Brown Rice, White Rice, or a salad with green and sesame dressing. The standard protein is 2 skewers, but they were accommodating when I asked for 2 vegetables and 1 tofu skewer. I also tried a veggie skewer and a plantain cake, which is gluten-free. The menu clearly labels vegan items. I tried the Chimichurri and Habanero sauces, both of which were delicious. The habanero sauce had a good level of heat. The other sauces are variations of the first two. I plan on returning for the curtains and incense. The food was fresh and well-prepared, with great service. However, there was some confusion about whether the Veg-Skewers were cooked on the same grill as animal proteins. I observed animal proteins on the vegetarian grill during a later visit. It is unclear if this was a mistake by the kitchen staff or misinformation from the front counter. The food is flame-grilled, not cooked on a flat top.
Rte is correct! The teriyaki tofu was delicious and the sweet plantains are a must-try.
RTE really knows how to make skewers!!! The teriyaki tofu was delicious and the sweet plantains are a must-try.
RTE Ready To Eat is located in Rodeo 39 Public market and offers a great selection of vegan options and fresh food. Customers can create their own custom plate by choosing a base of Brown Rice, White Rice, or Salad greens, along with vegetables. The standard protein option is 2 skewers, but they were accommodating when I asked for 2 veggies and 1 tofu skewer. I also ordered a Veggie skewer and a plantain cake, which was delicious but contains gluten. The menu clearly labels items as vegan or not. I enjoyed the chimichurri and habanero sauce, with the habanero having a good level of heat. The other sauces are aioli versions of these two. I look forward to returning for the plantains and brussels sprouts. The food was fresh and well-prepared, with great service. There was some confusion about whether veg skewers were cooked separately from animal proteins, as I saw animal proteins on the veg grill during a return visit. The food is flame-grilled, not cooked on a flat top.
The restaurant is located in Rodeo 39 Public Market and offers a variety of ready-to-eat options. It is a great place for those looking for vegan choices and fresh food. Guests can create their own custom plate with a choice of basic proteins and sides. The basic options include brown rice, white rice, or a green salad with sesame dressing. The standard proteins are usually 2 skewers, but I was able to request 2 sweet skewers and 1 tofu skewer instead. Additionally, there are veggie skewers and plantain cakes available. The plantain cakes, known as tostones, may contain gluten unless specified as gluten-free. The menu clearly marks which items are vegan. I tried the chimichurri and the Habanero sauce, both of which were delicious. The Habanero sauce had a good level of spiciness. Other sauces available are variations of these two options. I plan on returning soon to try the curries and Brussels sprouts. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and the service was excellent. The only issue I encountered was regarding the Veg-Skewers, as I was initially told they were not cooked on the same grill as animal proteins, but later witnessed them being prepared together. It remains unclear whether there was a mistake made by the kitchen staff or a misunderstanding from the front counter. Regardless, the skewers are flame-grilled rather than cooked on a flat top.
