La Parrilla Guacamole Grill - Stanton

I visit this restaurant frequently, especially on Taco Tuesdays. The food is exceptional, and the cooking is truly impressive. The waitress is not only attractive but also efficient and attentive. Just a friendly reminder to be sure to tip!

I ordered the large shrimp cocktail for $20, but there were only about six shrimp, and the cocktail sauce was excessively spicy. Although the presentation was beautiful and looked fantastic, I couldn't eat it because it was just too hot for me. I also had a margarita for $13, which could have used more tequila. Overall, I spent $36 on these two items, which feels quite expensive.

This used to be our favorite restaurant because of its delicious food, but we hadn't been there in the past five months. When we visited on Saturday evening, I ordered beef flautas, but the meat was spoiled. The staff checked it and confirmed that it had expired. They replaced it with chicken, but unfortunately, the chicken was dry and lacking in flavor. They did offer more rice, which was good, but the rice that came with my previous plate was old. The only thing we really enjoyed were the beans. This was the location on Beach; we have not had any issues at the new Lincoln location and will only return there.

Food is good and plentiful, consider plate sharing. The waitress was nice and attentive. Not crazy about the table salsa. I recommend this place and will go again

I just ordered out, but I used to eat here in the 90s and it looks really nice and the atmosphere feels great. I ordered carne asada burritos and they were very good. There were also home made chips in the bag.
