Claudia's Country Restaurant

Food was delicious - service excellent. We had a meal here and enjoyed all that we ordered. Servings are very large so would share next time

Let me start by saying , the food was great. It really was, but - It was a very hot day and we were seated in an airless verandah with plastic covering all the windows. We were given a winter menu and all felt uncomfortably hot .

We were taken to this restaurant on a half day wine tour. the food was excellent and plentiful. the service was very good. overall a great experience.

I would appreciate knowing if this restaurant plans to reopen for business. Can TripAdvisor find out and inform me? Thank you.

This is a great family run German restaurant where Claudia looks after you as well as cooking the meals. The menu is not large, but the food is delicious. Try the German beers, Combo German Sausage and Schnitzel and the apple strudel. We arrived on a Sunday and were telling Claudia we only had a little pumpkin soup for tea (shops are all closed by this time), so she gave us more soup and a loaf of bread, very generous.
