The Foodie - STANHOPE GARDENS

I went to this restaurant for an early dinner on Tuesday and was greeted by a friendly and polite server. We ordered the duck noodle soup and pad thai, both of which were very delicious. The prices were reasonable.

I ordered a meal for my one-year-old son and was asked to come back to make my payment with Apple Pay. When I returned, the food was ready but they refused to accept payment through Apple Pay. Instead, they canceled our order without informing us. I expected an apology and for them to let us wait for the meal, but my son was left disappointed and in tears as he wanted to eat at that moment. I would have expected them to offer the already prepared meal for free, especially since we are regular customers.

While out shopping for food, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant to try something new. We were not impressed with the service or the quality of the food. The restaurant was also slightly dirty and not well-maintained. It would be better if they offered table service instead of having customers order at the counter. The cutlery was stored in a common container, which is not sanitary and could lead to the spread of bacteria. We would not recommend this place to others.

I ordered nasi goreng and it was terrible. for almost for a servier with garnel, a few chicken pieces, fried egg and pieces of thorns, carrots and brokkoli and she called it nasi goreng. the rice is sticky and. definitiw too much sweet soy sauce. I can't eat it. also ordered a crooked no it was just ok. they were pretty busy, I think it's because no other competitor. I'll never return to that.

We went for the first time last week both myself and my husband. Found the soup was quite nice but the prawn rice rolls were tasteless.
