I had a great time at this bar/restaurant with an ocean view on Saturday evening. The ambiance is young to middle age with a live DJ. They serve fresh seafood, a variety of burgers, salads as well as eclectic menu options. We had a fried seafood platter with fresh king crab legs, mussels, clams, octopus that was very appetizing. We also ordered the pulled pork empanadas and crab spring rolls that were made to perfection with excellent sauces. For the main course, I ate salmon with wild mushroom risotto and organic spinach. The fish was pan seared with a crispy and juicy top. The risotto was the perfect comfort food topped with organic greens. My friend ordered the scallops with carrot puree and fennel cream sauce. This was a perfect dish of the sea on land. The savory pan seared scallops were light with a mildly sweet accompaniment of fresh veggies. Their sangria was excellent. I had the white sangria which had bits of strawberries very refreshing! They also have an excellent brunch menu. The service was excellent! Our waiter Asher was very accommodating, professional and promt with our service. I will definitely visit The Sign of the Whale again. Looking forward to trying some of their brunch items.

Brooke is the best waitress! Her attentiveness to our large party coupled with her bubbly, friendly personality, we had a spectacular experience. The food is delicious and the rooftop tiki bar is the best in town. I can't wait to go back!

An eclectic crowd, a great rooftop bar, decent food and good ipas on tap. What's not to like? I was taken by the fact that this decidedly unhip reviewer had a great time hanging with some truly cool people.

Easily the best rooftop bar/restaurant outside of the city. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. It doesn’t get any better!
