Riviera Maya - Stamford

Food was good, however service was horrible. We stopped in while traveling from NY. Googled some spots and came across this one. Restaurant was near empty on a nice afternoon. We sat outside. Four of us. Throughout the whole dining experience about 3-4waitresses helped us. One brought water. One did the drinks. One took the order... Someone else brought the food etc. Throughout that whole time, they didn't say a single word to us. Nothing.... Then at the end she slammed the check on the table...Maybe asking if we're all set??. Nothing... Just an odd experience. Also had to ask for refills for water... And there was fourof us.. but they only brought 3 sets of silverware... Had to flag someone else for that. Very disappointing... Especially sincethe street view and seating is pretty nice and the food was good. But because of the odd service if ever in the area I would notgo back. I would go to a any of the other restaurants near by and there is a lot of choices.

The bouncers at this nightclub are terrible, but the venue itself is great otherwise. I wouldn’t recommend eating there, and the drinks are just average. I paid $13 for a drink and left a $3.33 tip, but when I tried to leave with my drink, one of the bouncers threw it on the floor. I plan to dispute the charge for a drink I never even got to enjoy. If you want to steer clear of arrogant bouncers who act like they’re in charge, I suggest you avoid this place.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was truly impressed. I really enjoyed the food, which was excellent, and the customer service was exceptional. I felt very secure while there. The best part was the 100% Latin music; you can dance all night long! I enjoyed it so much that it has become my favorite spot.

The service and drinks were fantastic! The spicy margarita was enjoyable, though it wasn't very spicy at all. We really liked the nachos, but they were quite small and would definitely not be filling enough for two people to share.

Food is quite good. Not amazing, but solid and predictable. The fajitas had great depth of flavor chicken was tender and flavorful with caramelized vegetables and onions that left us scraping the plates. The chicken tacos were boring and flavorlesswith only that backend that tastes like the cook burned half of the chicken and just tossed the black bits. The margaritas arereally good, but don't ask to upgrade the tequila to anything much better than well. We did and the margaritas became the mostexpensive in Stamford. They are $16 MORE per drink for the same combination than the most expensive restaurant in town(Prime). Service was a bit of a mess. It took 3 requests to get water and we never got one of the drinks we ordered. Themargaritas didn't taste like the tequila we ordered, so we asked. The waitress said she forgot to ask and they were the regulartequila. The manager said they were the upgraded one. The bill seemed to side with the manager's version, with 2 margaritascosting $96. We had no proof either way and chose not to fight with them about it. We certainly didn't order another round.
