K's Creamery - Stamford

This restaurant was a delightful surprise. At first glance, it almost resembles an ice cream shop. The restaurant is clean and decorated with local art on the walls. It has a cozy diner-like setup. The two waitresses were very friendly, genuine Vermont locals. The menu is simple with a focus on burgers, sandwiches, and salads made from mostly local meat products. I tried the crooked burger, which was possibly the best burger I've ever had, while my wife had the Veggie sandwich. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. Just a heads up, they only accept cash and close at 6 o'clock.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and the food is delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed homemade cakes and ice cream one afternoon, and returned the next day for another meal. Everything was fantastic. My Cuban sandwich was outstanding, made with meat from the owner's own farm.

The Sleep Woodstock Motel is located next door to the Mountain Creamery, which we highly recommend trying. We were so happy that we did because the breakfast was delicious on our first morning, we decided to have it again the next day. It was great to see that everything was homemade, from the bread to the jelly and even the apples.

We haven't been back to the mountain creamery for years, but our friendly waitress tina reminded us and was as hospitable and efficient as always! and the breakfasts are still enormous and tasty and quite expensive. well worth the ten minutes drive from the city for a return experience!

We had been missing the Creamery in Woodstock downtown but found it again just outside of town on Rte 4. We had an amazing breakfast our first day and came back again for lunch the second day. The restaurant is clean, staff is super helpful and the food is wonderful.
