Coromandel Cuisine Of India Stamford

I was staying at a nearby hotel and was recommended by local friends to try Coromandel. Although I can’t comment on the service since I ordered my dinner for takeout, I can say that the person who greeted me was warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic! I only wish I lived closer so I could enjoy it again soon. If I'm ever in Stamford again, you can bet I’ll make it a priority to visit Coromandel.

I’ve heard that this restaurant can be quite inconsistent, suggesting that I just happened to visit during a particularly good phase. And what a fantastic phase it was! The 'Nellore Chapla Koora' was intensely spicy in that authentic Andhra way, yet it still managed to maintain a rich depth and complexity of flavors. The tandoori chicken was... luscious; that's the only word that truly fits. The kheema naan was stuffed with an outstanding lamb filling, and the raita provided a perfectly cooling contrast afterwards. On a side note, we did order a bottle of Sula Sauvignon Blanc, which ended up being the weak link in the experience. While it might be great in Bangalore, I’d recommend choosing something different here.

The food here is outstanding. The cuts of meat are top-notch, and the flavors are exquisite. You'll love this delightful culinary experience. No one compares to them, and to top it off, the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional!

Always delicious.. food is so very authentic .. reasonably priced.. quick delivery... all my favorite dishes come out perfectly!! The staff is wonderful... been doing pickup and delivery since Covid.. but, never disappointed

I only wish I didn't live so far away so I could enjoy it again soon. Trust me, if I return to Stamford, I'll definitely make it a point to visit Coromandel.
