Cilantro - Stamford

Eating was delicious and earned 4 stars, but rated 2 because the service was so bad. the waiter took our order and never came back. the women from the kitchen got us water and got us another round drinks. we waved at the waiter to take our teller and get a dessert menu. the waiter never came back to take the Dessert order, so we went to the bar to get the leak.

We had two different fish dishes. they were a little overboiled, but the sauces were good.

First, the outside space is great and the location was perfect for a show dinner for an event in the palast. intimate and still open. next are the margaritas great. then to round out the first impressions, the plantain chips that are freshened daily in the house are the best chips I had. the chips with the salsa fresca are a show stuffing. we went to dinner the tapas route and it was all delicious. the aromes were subtle and different and oh so good. the gambas were tender and the sauce was so good I wanted to lick the plate. the empanadas were the best I ever had, thinnest masa and amazing fillings. I was hesitant about the pata that was paired with a Guava sauce, but it made the court complete. top the meal with warm churros and I was a happy camper. they'll look at this place safely. great, unique, tasteful eating and wonderful service.

After reading so many good reviews I have finally tried this place, but I was never so disappointed by the service and eating in a restaurant! my man ordered the paella and we politely mentioned the paella was sweet and not what we expected. we were then rudely corrected that the menu says that the paella guaba has what makes it sweet. we had no idea. We never had a sweet paella. the waiter/manager didn't even offer us something else on the menu, he simply took the plate back. when we got the scar, I asked if we could get at least one discount, as we returned the plate and was said: "It was our fault for ordering this and there was nothing he could do because seafood is expensive." I couldn't believe that this was his answer, and to mention, I didn't even complain about my eating. I ordered the trio steak tostones and the steak was not cooked as I had asked and the tostones were hard. whether we had to pay the full price for a terrible meal, we were also automatically charged 20% drinking money for terrible service. a terrible experience. we will definitely not go back or recommend to everyone!

It was a really fun experience. Went on New Year's Eve with my girlfriend. First things first, whoever took their pictures on Google deserves a raise. The place was considerably smaller and less unique than the pictures. That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just a thing. The servers were wonderful, The food was very good, and the atmosphere is fun. Fun. It was a little overpriced for what it was but it's still led to a great night.
