Highfield Pavilion Cafe - Stalybridge

I took a nostalgic trip to a park I used to visit as a child. Unfortunately, the birds and rabbits are no longer there, and the lovely rose beds have disappeared. However, the newly planted trees looked beautiful. The pond brought back many memories. I do think the greenhouses could use some improvements.

This place is a lot of fun for kids, with plenty of activities to keep them engaged. There are designated play areas, a large forest to explore, and even a café and a train ride. One of the highlights, especially on hot days, is the sprinklers that create a refreshing splash. It's a fantastic spot for a family outing!

A beautiful park, ideal for hiking, walking, talking to the ducks and spotting the cannons and calibre round running. it is also a beautiful walk around the boat lake and the chads. a great day in summer with a picnic

Lovely park! Really big to say it’s near a city centre! At the top it has a play area and a 5 a side football and basketball court! It has a lovely cafe but I don’t think it’s open because of covid, theres nothing bad to say about it.

Excellent park really enjoyed it, took our two huskies there as fancied a change from Alexander Park, will go back again, hadn't been there in over twenty years.
