Do not worry poor karvery very common woman serving the meat-portions veg cold veg . greasy gravy .waited ages fir drinks on the bar. tables outside not deleted. low cost for bad meaty lunch

We have been having our large family gatherings at this restaurant for many years, spanning generations. The staff is friendly, the service is good, and the bar is well-stocked for our lengthy and lively conversations. Looking forward to our next family gathering here!

I followed the travel council recommendation on my journey from Stockport to Derby and the meal exceeded my expectations. The salmon was a standout dish and the vegetable lasagne was also delicious. I paired my meal with a good pint of local IPA and finished off with a prosecco. Overall, a highly enjoyable dining experience.

They met with friends and had the weekday caraby. served a very generous part of the meat. Unfortunately, the buses were disappointing and the nice. the brotsoße looked out and tasted as if it was mixed brown brots and water in a slutty chaos. the filling was not so bad, but it had very little taste. Potatoes tasted sour and there were only 12.30 leeks in sauce were rubbery. the other sweet was of the frozen sort. very disappointed, as we had several times the Sundays, so that we expected the same quality. badly worth what we had. can only hope that the Sunday treasure is still of a higher standard.

My first dining experience in Derbyshire was a disappointment. Despite the 2 AA rosettes, I would not have given any as I am a Michelin star chef and know what I am talking about. The starters were lacking in substance and the main courses were a disaster. I ordered ribs thinking they would be decent size, but they were tasteless and lacked marination. The chips were over-fried and when I asked about it, I received no explanation. The risotto was also disappointing, resembling a plate of mushy peas. The restaurant needs to improve as their 2 AA rosettes may not last long.
