Verso Lounge - Stafford

I went to the restaurant with my colleagues for brunch. One thing that disappointed me was that all the bacon options were either smoked or streaky smoked, and all the sausages were Cumberland. While this might be acceptable for dinner, I didn't really want herb seasoning or smoked meats with my breakfast. It didn't really match the style of cuisine that was being served and left me feeling confused.

This restaurant used to be a pleasant spot to visit, as I would frequently bring my dogs when meeting with friends or family. However, I no longer consider it dog-friendly. There were loud and rowdy children running around, and when my dog barked once, I was asked to take her outside. The situation made us feel quite uncomfortable, so we have decided not to come back again.

Excellent breakfasts and coffees here. I had Shaksuka a delicious dish of chickpeas in a tomato sauce with poached eggs fabulous full English goid too.

Visited here early Friday evening before the theatre. Quite quiet but still nice atmosphere. Greeted by friendly young lady took out seats. We ordered 2 pulled brisket beef chilli, one being dairy free chicken noodle salad. My chilli was lovely with melted cheese yoghurt/chillies on top with nice spicy rice. Dairy free option was also good. Chicken noodle salad was plentiful was told delicious. Enjoyed our experience will return again.

Came with family Saturday. Staff as always friendly and attentive but the food left a lot to be desired. The chicken in the twisted club and burger was really dry and overcooked. Needs more attention to detail
