I am vegetarian and had the chili garlauch pasta. that was absolutely in.cred.ible! my other half had a mission that was overcrowded with haggis. he said it melted in his mouth. we had a cream broth. the sugar on top was a bit done and tasted burned, but not the night that was so delicious that we planned our next trip there before our departure. highly recommended. the only thing I would mention, more so for the restaurant owners who have desserts dint admitted whether they are vegetarian or vegan. it would really be practical to know.
Never been here until last night. I came with my wife and my son. it was my prebirth-day meal (man,) which is on Tuesday. as well as the meals were amazing. my wife and I had the bark and beer cake amazing. the bark in the pie was so tender, we loved it, and my stepson had a well-made steak that he also loved. would definitely be back for more. the staff was friendly and helpful. could not wish. highly recommended.
Lovely place with a pub-like vibe. Staff are very friendly and those of us that had steak were extremely happy. Starters were lovely. Pasta was a little bland however and a drinks menu would be beneficial!
The fillet was very delicately smoked and had a taste-neutral medium cut. It's hard to find such delicious bark meat anywhere else. When traveling from South England, they make sure to try this dish paired with Stilton sauce and hand-cut chips. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality, and the staff are fantastic.
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant, with service that was attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. The menu offers something for everyone. The tap house itself has a cozy yet spacious atmosphere, and I will certainly continue to recommend it to others.
