Good View Chinese Food To Takeaway

I recently ordered takeout from Good View and it was very tasty. The sweet and sour chicken with pineapple and ginger had a fresh and delicious flavor. Ordering online was easy and the delivery was prompt, arriving 5 minutes early. We will definitely order from here again.

We ordered our usual Chinese takeout tonight and were very disappointed. We were told it would take half an hour, but it ended up being nearly an hour, which didn't bother me too much since I had worked in a Chinese takeout myself for 8 years and know that times can be deceiving. The chicken balls were delicious as always, but the chips were cold and the rice was just okay. The beef was terrible - it was slimy and the curry sauce tasted like oil. I couldn't even eat it, it made me gag. I decided to try the pancake roll, which I always save for last. Unfortunately, it was cooked in the fryer but not drained properly - the foil container was filled with oil, and it tasted like chemicals. It seemed like the sides were cleaned with something that left a strange taste. Overall, I am very disappointed. We used to love this Chinese restaurant, but this experience has definitely put me off. It's sad to say goodbye to a place with such a good view. Goodbye.

We ordered a lot of food for delivery while working on our boat at Stafford boat club. 3 x pancake rolls 1 x banana fritter 2 x chicken chow mein I x sweet and sour sauce Chicken in Cantonese sauce 1 x chicken curry with chips I x boiled rice 1 x salt and pepper squid. Most of the meals were top class. Below par was the squid and the chips. Excellent delivery and service. Overall a good Chinese takeaway. We would definitely use this place again.
